Find Keywords With This Cutting Edge Strategy
By Matt Bacak
Finding the right keywords to use on your Internet business website can make your profit sink or swim. It is crucial to find keywords that attract quality customers that want to subscribe to your list and purchase your product.
How do you find good keywords for your website? A great way to find the best keywords is to use software such as “Good Keywords”. You can search for awesome keywords and keywords phrases using this program. The more keyword phrases you have the better chance you will be found in the Google search results. You should also use common misspellings in your keyword phrases. The “Good Keywords” software program has a feature that will provide you with these common misspellings.
While using the “Good Keywords” software program is a proven way to find good keywords, it is not the only method out there. You should also think outside the box when you create keyword phrases. Why? It will set you apart from the competition. The majority of your competition will solely rely on keyword phrases generated by machines. Take this a step further and use your own brain to find keyword phrases.
AMAZON STRATEGY: THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
Who are your competitors? Who is earning the website traffic that you desire? How can you step in front of your competitor’s website to grab the website traffic? You can use an “Amazon.com” strategy.
Go to Amazon. Then type in a keyword phrase at Amazon and hit search. This will give a list of books related to your niche. People who are searching for books online are interested in purchasing information related to the niche. Therefore, add the keyword phrases of
books related to your niche. Also make sure to use the author’s name as a keyword phrase. An author name keyword phrase is a great choice because many customers search for products based on an author’s name.
Yet, another strategy is to use an online dictionary to find good keywords. Go to www.dictionary.com. You can find synonyms and antonyms of your keyword phrases. This will give you a bounty of new keyword phrases.
Are you curious as to what keywords your competition is using on their websites? Google won’t give you this information, but a website called www.googspy.com will provide you with this secret information. You can look to see what your competitors are doing at this website. All you need to do is type in the website address, keyword, or name of your competitor into the search feature. The results will show you what keywords this website is using and bidding on. You can check out their keyword phrases and meta tags.
Use these cutting edge strategies to find the best keyword phrases available for your website.

Big Guide Through On Page Seo Factors - Part 2
By Bedrich Omacka
Keywords in the title
Try to include the main keywords in the title. Keywords in title are extremely important so never underestimate this step! Title of every page should be unique, depending on the page topic. Place the title as high as possible in the website source, ideally as the first tag in the "head" section.
Google shows about 60 first letters of the title in SERPs, Yahoo! and MSN a little more. So if you will write longer titles, the main information about the page should be included in the first 60 letters.
If possible, the main keywords should be in the beginning of the title. This will help you to achieve higher prominence. Example: "Web Hosting Company located in Seychelles | Company Name".
Keywords in the description
Meta tag description describes the content of the particular page. It means that every page of your web should have its own unique description. Many webmasters make the mistake that they use only one general description for the entire website. Yes, it can save their time but there are some disadvantages. First, the description probably will not fit good the page content. Keep in mind that content of the description tag is usually used by search engines as a part of website's listing. Your potential visitor will see this listing and if he will not find what is he looking for he will probably visit website of your competitor. Another problem can happen if some of your pages has too little content. There is a big risk that search engines will classify these sites like duplicate. Nobody knows exactly their algorithm but search engines like fresh, unique content and not duplicate sites.
Case study:
Some time ago I started a jokes site. The goal of this site was to be ranked good for the main keyword "jokes" and joke categories names (e.g. blonde jokes). So I used unique titles, description and keyword meta tags for the home page and joke categories. The particular jokes had one general title and description (each site included one joke and most jokes was about 15 - 25 words only). And what happened? When I typed into Google site:mysite.tld, I saw this: "Results 1 - 7 of about 43 from mysite.tld. In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 7 already displayed. If you like,
you can repeat the search with the omitted results included." So 36 sites was considered duplicate. I probably didn't get "points" for having a lot of unique content. Anyway when I realized this, I changed all titles and descriptions -- I made them all unique. When I tried site:mysite.tld one month later, Google said: "Results 1 - 43 of about 43 from mysite.tld".
Conclusion -- if you make your description tags unique, you provide better information for your visitor and search engines too. They will like you both.
Meta tag description should contain keywords related to particular page. Always include the keywords used in title (the most important keywords) and add some more specific keywords. Google displays about 150 from description characters in its listings, msn and yahoo more (I have seen up to 300 characters in some yahoo listing descriptions). Anyway if you plan from some reason use longer description, always write the most important information in the beginning. It will be useful not only for your potential visitor when he finds your listing in search engine but also for your search engine ranking. You get a few "points" from search engines because you achieve higher prominence of your keywords you are targeting.
Some webmasters confuse meta tag description and keywords. I have seen many websites with description like "Keyword 1, keyword 2, keyword 3 etc.). This is called "keyword stuffing" and you can be sure that search engines don't like it. Here is an example of meta tag description for web hosting site: Web hosting service offering 25,000 MB web space, 400 GB bandwidth, PHP, MySQL and Perl, website builder and free domain name.
In the next part of this article I will show you how to use meta tag keywords, alt tags, how to integrate your keywords to the website content and I will say you something about anchor text.

Big Guide Through On Page Seo Factors - Part 3
By Bedrich Omacka
Keywords in meta tag keywords
Meta tag keywords should contain a few most important keywords related to particular page. Every keyword listed in this tag should appear in the page content. Don't try to repeat single keyword, it can be considered spam. Some search engines including Google no longer values this tag. Anyway you lose nothing if you use it. I will use again the example with web hosting website. The good keywords tag can be: web, hosting, company, php, mysql (if you offer PHP and MySQL support, of course).
Keywords in alt tags
What are alt tags? Try to move mouse pointer over any image on some website. If some text will appear near the mouse pointer, it is the alt tag content. The original purpose of alt tags was to describe the images for users which use browser which doesn't display images. In these days, alt tags can be useful for better images description and as an alternative text which is used in case that the images is not loaded.
If your site contains any images which display something what can be described by your keywords, always use these keywords in your alt tags. But never use keywords which have nothing to do with the image. That can be consider cheating and your site may be penalized.
Keywords in the website text
Use your keywords naturally in the text. Nobody can tell you the ideal keyword density but from my experience 3 - 10 % is fine. Most SEO consultants believe that there is no fixed ideal density. More likely the ideal density depends on the site topic. Anyway if you will write your website content naturally you will probably hit the mark.
If possible, use H1, H2 etc. tags. The most important keywords should appear in the H1 tag, H2 (H3, H4...
if applicable) tags should contain more specific keywords related to the paragraph below these headings. Important keywords can be highlighted using STRONG or EM tags. STRONG tag makes bold the text and EM creates italic text. I suggest to use these tags instead B and I tags. The visual effect of these tags is the same but text in STRONG and EM tags are considered important by search engines.
Keywords in anchor text
Anchor text are the words in links. This is one of the most important on page factor. Every link in your menu usually consists of one, two or thee words. These words should exactly describe the content of the target page. In our example with web hosting company, there can be links in site navigation like "Web Hosting Plans", "Domain Names" etc.
Sometimes happen that you need more words to describe the target page content but the design of your website doesn't allow larger text. The solution can be the link title which is displayed when the visitor moves mouse pointer over the link. Here is an example: A HREF="domain.html" TITLE="Domain name registration or domain name transfer".
In the last part of this article, part 4, I will show you how to improve your website navigation structure and reveal some secrets about site age and its SEO effect.

Keywords - Don’t Underestimate Their Importance
By Matt Rankin
Everyone knows all about keywords right? Well, that’s what most people think, and to a degree that are probably right. However, in this article we are going to look at not just the importance of having targetted keywords, but also which keywords you should use on your site, and in what order they should be listed in your META tags, and elsewhere on your site.
Ok, so you’ve got a list of 100 really good keywords. Here are a few steps you should take:
1. Remove any keywords that are only one word (eg. money). These keywords will not bring you targetted visitors.
2. Remove any keywords that don’t directly relate to your site, you really only want a list of 5 - 10 keyword phrases of 2 - 4 words (eg. home based business, earn money from home etc.) Don’t worry about having a short list if you do, it will change in the next steps : )
3. Ok, now for some good stuff. Open up the Overture Keyword Selector Tool. Enter in what you think your best keyword phrase is, then click on the little blue arrow. (eg. "work at home business")
4. Now, what you will see immediately is the popularity of your search term with the number of searches done at Overture for the past month. You’ll also see similar search terms with their popularity listed.
5. Create a simple text file and list in it each search term and it’s popularity. Feel free to try different searches, and sometimes it is better to just use 1 word, and let the tool provide you with suitable phrases.
6. Sort your list by search popularity, ie. the highest numbers go at the top.
7. Now, delete any more than
10, and certainly anything that has a number of under 10,000.
8. Now you have your new list of keywords, ensure that you enter them into you META tag in the order they are listed. An example which I use for this page is below:
9. Now, the next step which is equally as important is to include the first 2 keywords in your page title, in your headings and at the beginning of your description META tags. The sonner a search engine see your keywords, the better your listing will rank.
10. Ensure that you use all of your keywords at least once on your site! Some search engines will penalise sites for list keywords in their META tag that do not exist anywhere else on the website.
Well, that’s about it in a nutshell, remember that good keywords are imperative in driving search engine traffic to your website. The more people that search for a term, the more people that are likely to visit your site - sounds simple I know, but you’d be amazed at how many people ignore this simple rule!

Top 5 On-page Search Engine Optimization Strategies
By Chris Le Roy
I reckon one of the most rewarding things you can do is to build a webpage and see it rank well on the internet, in particular search engines like Google, Yahoo or MSN. Most internet newbies are absolutely ecstatic when they finally see one of their webpages rank well. To rank well there are a whole range of issues that you need to look at which include both on-page optimization and off-page optimization strategies.
The key strategies we will look at today in this article are on-page search engine optimization strategies. In reality, most on-page search engine optimization strategies will only make small changes in placement, but each small change will add up to larger changes.
There are five key elements you need to look at for on-page search engine optimization.
Item #1 – Use Your Keywords In Your Title Meta Data
One of the most important things you can do when it comes to on-page optimization is to use your target keywords in the title. For example if your page is about home loans in Florida, then you need to put into your title the keywords “Florida Home Loans” or “Florida Investment Property Loans”.
Item #2 – Use Your Keywords In The Meta Data
Whilst many search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN may not use the Description Meta tag and Keyword Meta tag, other smaller search engines do still use this information and because of this you need to ensure that you still use these meta tags. You also need to ensure that you use the keywords in the Keywords meta tag and as well ensure that you use the keywords in the description meta tag.
Further to this make sure that you when you are choosing the keywords for a webpage you only use one or two keywords in the page. From experience we have found that trying to use more than two keywords in a page just does not work and never results in good search engine positions.
I had a couple of building clients come and talk to me this week about helping them build more effective websites and we found their previous website builders had used general keywords that they were never going to rank well. In fact it turned out this one website developer had five other building companies in his stable and he was customizing his highest paying client to be ranked well and the rest were ranked poorly.
Ninety-Nine percent of the issue with the website was that their webpages were developed using generalized words which would never bring in quality traffic. The keywords where as the highest paying clients website were using specific terms, but on his site that were using terms like homes, home, builder etc. This meant that our clients could never in a million years rank well. Apart from that, even if they did rank well most of their traffic would be irrelevant anyway as they only build homes in Australia and in particular North Queensland.
Item #3 – Use Keywords In Your WebPages
All of the major
search engines look at the material on each of your webpages and then assess its quality and ranks it according to that quality. If your webpages are not targeted to a certain issue then your webpage will not rank well. Your key objective in creating a webpage is to target your webpage to your customers and then optimize that page to the keywords your customers would use to find that page.
To make your webpages relevant, you need to include the keywords your customers are using into their webpages. In doing that the search engines will help you to get that message out, when we professionally develop a webpage we use keywords our clients customers are searching on but we ensure that we only have a keyword density of between 2 and 6 percent. Any more than that, your customers are going to consider you are using high pressure tactics and more so, the search engines call it keyword spamming and that can cost you big time.
Actually, it can have you and your website banned.
Item #4 – Use Keywords In The Title On The Webpage
We talked about Keywords in the Title Meta data but I also recommend that you use your keywords in the title of your webpage plus at the end of your webpage. When using HTML the easiest way to make your titles standout simply set your Title in a H1 format. If you are not familiar with H1 this is one of the standard formats in HTML.
Item #5 – Use Keywords In Your Page Name
One of the most misunderstood things people when creating their webpage do not do is to use their webpage keywords in the filenames of their webpages. The most recommended place for your keywords is in your domain names however in reality, you will find that you want 100 or so keywords for your website and the easiest way to use the keywords is to use them in the filename of your webpages. This way the search engines will still give you credit for using the keywords in this area.
To summarise there are five top on-page search engine optimization strategies you should be considering:
Item #1 – Use Your Keywords In Your Title Meta Data
Item #2 – Use Your Keywords In The Meta Data
Item #3 – Use Keywords In Your WebPages
Item #4 – Use Keywords In The Title On The Webpage
Item #5 – Use Keywords In Your Page Name

Top Four Key Issues - You Need To Consider When Choosing Keywords For Your Domain
By Chris Le Roy
I have spent the last three weeks working with one of my new clients. They have been building their own website for over three years, spent $20,000 and have virtually no traffic. Like many people on the internet, they saw an opportunity to license some material from another company and did so in the promise they would make money. Yet to their distress they have never ranked well online and have never had high levels of traffic.
This particular client has spent thousands of dollars on building email lists using Adwords to assist in driving traffic their way. They are fast running out of money and becoming very distressed. The client has spent lots of money paying other people to get search engine traffic but has never achieved a good ranking and in some search engines did not even register an existence.
Two weeks ago we worked out what keywords would suit the licensed products that the client had purchased, built a website based on the sales pages the licensor had provided and using the right keywords this client has now achieved the most outstanding results.
The client achieved within 1 week of the site being live a #1 ranking in Yahoo.com on a keyword. A number one ranking is predicted to bring about 50 hits a day. The website also achieved a number 2 ranking in Google.com on a keyword which is predicted to bring about 150 hits a day. The reason our client achieved these outstanding results was simply because of the process we followed in choosing the right and appropriate keywords for the domain and key webpages. I should note that whilst the client will only pull about 200 hits a day on this one key world, we expect to make 3 to 5 sales a day for a $300 product. If you look at the numbers from the best case scenarios, the sales will pull $1,500 a day US which works out to about $10,500 a week and about $500,000 a year. Not bad for one single keyword.
There are four key issues you need to consider when trying to choose the right keywords for your domain name.
Issue #1 – Identify The Actual Words Your Customers are Using To Search For Your Products
One of the biggest mistakes many people make is to not do the research to identify the actual keywords your customers are actually searching on. In fact I have found that often what a client thinks their customers are using to search for their products is totally different to what their clients actually search on.
There are many tools on the market to help you do this and there are new ones coming out every week. My team and I use a range of tools like WordTracker and Overture to develop lists of keywords our clients customers are actually searching on. I find that Wordtracker is a fantastic tool for this.
When you are trying to use Wordtracker, I recommend that you start your searches with just a single general word about your product. This will give you a full list of all the words and a range of important information.
Issue #2 – Identify the Right Keywords with Minimal Competition
When you work with Wordtracker the system will give you a range of information about your keywords including the number of competing sites by search engine, the total number of hits per day in total to expect and a prediction of the number of hits per day by search engine. There are two issues you need to consider. One is the number of competitive sites for the keywords and the second is the number of hits you can expect.
The number of competitive sites is the most important issue to look. Keywords that have few competitive sites are much better to go after than those keywords that have lots of competitive sites as it can take a while to rank well. For example, my team and I have been going after a general term which currently has about 900,000 competing sites. The downside is that it takes a lot of work, lots of articles and a lot of time to achieve a number one ranking. In particular it has taken us 4
and half months to rank in the top twenty and we expect it to take another 2 months to get into the top five.
I know of one company that wanted to rank well for the keywords "wholesale hats" and that it took them 6 solid months of writing articles and building back links to be ranked well in the number one position. When you are starting out, you will want to make sure that you choose low competition websites. Now here is the interesting issue, just because a keyword has 1 million competing webpages does not mean that its going to be hard to rank well. What you need to do is to identify how many backlinks the top competitors has for the keywords. If the top competitor's webpages have only a few links to their page or even their site then you may find it very easy to top those webpages.
One of the aspects to consider when choosing your keywords is to make sure that your general keywords are in fact included in the domain name. For example if you were creating a website on Asthma, then in your domain name, you would want to include the keyword Asthma but it is unlikely you would get Asthma.com. However you would want to include the term asthma as the search engines give a better ranking to those that have the keywords in the domain, simply due to relevance.
Remember one key issue, the more relevant your keywords and domain, the more likely your website will rank highly.
Issue #3 – Identify Keywords with Good Daily Hits
The next issue you need to look at is the number of daily hits you can expect using those keywords. If the only keywords you can get with low competition webpages have 10 to 30 hits per day, then it is going to be a long haul.
The best type of keywords are those where you have a couple of hundred hits per day, preferably a thousand plus a day and only a few competing webpages. One of the sites we did for one of my clients had 350 daily hits per day but only had 104 competing webpages. This number of competing webpages is minute and it will not take a huge amount to get a top ranking position.
Issue #4 – See What Your Competitors Are Doing With Your Keywords
The next issue you need to look at is which keywords your competitors are using. When you are trying to work out your domain name you need to weigh up what your competitors are using to secure your customers, what keywords they are using in the keywords section of their meta data and what keywords they are using in their webpages and the text in their hyperlinks and their domains.
With all of this information you need to then balance out which keywords will give you the best results. Knowing what keywords your customers are searching on, which keywords have the least competition, what keywords your competitors are using and the total number of hits per day on your keywords will help you choose the right domain.
Oh and there is one other issue in all of this that you need to consider, is the domain with the keywords you have chosen still available?
Look the bottom line is that you want to build sites that are relevant and bring value to your customers and also to the search engines. If your websites do not do that then you will never be truly successful. All of the most successful websites in the world actually follow this credo.

Earn Money On Google Adsense Using These Three Proven Strategies
By Matt Bacak
Google AdSense is a great program that Internet businesses can utilize to make money. If you want to earn a significant amount of money through Google AdSense then read on. You will learn three proven strategies that will optimize your Google AdSense earnings.
Following are three ways to make money using Google AdSense:
1. Add more messages in your email sequence that is driving customers to your website pages that have Google AdSense advertisements. Increasing the frequency of your email messages will provide more chances for Internet visitors to click on your Google AdSense advertisements.
2. Send out a mass email, solo broadcast. Send out an email to drive traffic to your website page that contains the Google AdSense advertisements. Increase the amount of subscribers you have on your list.
3. Increase the amount of money you earn from the advertisements. For example, certain Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords cost more money in Google Adwords. Therefore, you can write articles that contain these high value keywords. You will earn more money through Google AdSense with these higher quality keywords.
Another strategy you can use is to place the Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords in your Title tag. The first 250 words on your website is the second most important piece of information. Write a line then insert a double space. Place Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords in this space. Highlight the Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords so that it is white. This will cause the Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords to blend into the background. Do not use this for search engine marketing! It will hurt you in search engine optimization. It is only used to increase the price you earn from Google Advertisements. The Google spiders see these keywords. However, the human eye will not
detect the keywords.
How do you find the high paying keywords? Use www.highpayingkeywords.com. This service provides you a quarterly listing of the high paying keywords. The service costs you money. However, it is a good investment because Google will not give information about the high paying keywords.
Tip: When you communicate with your list, you need to provide relevant content. Don’t just send poor content as filler. Don’t just send an article or email message to provide Google AdSense exposure. You need to provide content that is a benefit for your subscriber list.
How many emails should you send? You can send as many emails as you want. Sending out various emails is at your discretion. If you send out several emails per week it may annoy some of your subscribers. However, these subscribers can be deleted. You want to send out as many emails as you need because they are bound to bring in more orders for your product or service. Plus, it increases the amount of money you earn through Google AdSense if your subscribers click on the Google AdSense advertisements.

Knowing Your Keywords
By Phil Pavis
Knowing Your Keywords
Search engine optimization (SEO) is a task for the professionals. However, there’s no
reason why you should not try to understand it so you could practice it yourself if
only for maintenance purposes.
It’s a Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> Keywords Game
SEO is about making your website one of the top results in a search engine query. What
search engines do is index web pages. These web pages are scanned and the Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords are
indexed by the software made for the purpose. There are also programs to relate the
words found to one another so as to find a unifying thread and determine the topic or
the purpose of the page. After that, these pages will be ranked according to their
category (their purpose). When a keyword is queried, the search engine will yield
only the pages that are relevant to the keyword used; these web pages will be those
that contain the keyword and related Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords in abundance.
Being returned on top of the list, therefore, necessitates determining the keyword
and the related Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords for which you wish to garner top rank. After this crucial
step, you need to optimize for these keywords.
Determining Your SEO Keyword(s)
How do you determine the keyword for which you should optimize? This involves (1)
determining your site’s purpose; (2) finding out the terms that people who are looking
for accounting services online would be likely to use to search the internet; and (3)
weighing everything against the competition for the keyword(s).
In the case of an accounting firm, the natural choice of Keyword Elite: New Keyword Software.','Keyword Elite | Brad Callen | Keyword Research')" onmouseout="hideuarxtip()"> keywords would be ‘accounting
services.’ This keyword phrase fulfills the number 1 criterion for the accounting firm
obviously provides accounting services. It also fulfills criterion number 2 for it’s
the most likely choice of keyword when people are looking for accounting services online.
However, it doesn’t pass criterion number 3 for Google’s keyword tool will tell you that there’s
stiff competition
for this phrase.
Admittedly, this measure comes from the number of advertisers competing for the keyword in
Google’s AdWords scheme, but it is a good enough gauge of the general degree of competition
for this keyword.
Google’s tool will show you possible variations on the same theme. In the above example,
Google’s keyword tool shows that there are people searching for the term ‘accounting
bookkeeping services’ but there’s hardly any competition in AdWords for it. This makes
this keyword phrase a good replacement. Thus, instead of optimizing its website for the
keyword phrase ‘accountings services’, the accounting firm may be better off optimizing
for the keyword phrase ‘accounting bookkeeping services’.
Optimizing Your Web Pages

The Ultimate Seo Plan For Internet Marketers
By Doug P
How to optimize your site
I don't like doing seo, but its very much needed. Search engine optimization for your website should be one of a webmaster's main goals. Getting traffic from the search engines is not only free but is also constant (depending on what keywords that you are targeting) traffic. Below is a plan that web masters should follow when they decide that they will start optimizing their websites, you should include a combination of onsite and offsite search engine optimization.
Step one: What keywords your going to optimize for
Think of what keywords that you want to target. If you target the wrong keywords then you may never see any results for them, just some common sense. And if you target overly competive keywords then it may take too much time to see results but once you do it will be well worth it. I would recommend targeting in the middle when selecting keywords to optimize your site for when you’re starting out.
Here is a free keyword tool that you can use to get an idea of what keywords are popular: http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/.
Just a quick tip when selecting keywords, i usually use the plural version for keywords or keyword phrases because the plural version includes the single one. For example if you have a keyword “shoe” try making it “shoes” because the keyword “shoes” include the keyword “shoe” but its not the same in reverse.
Step two: Start onsite optimization
This is one layer of search engine optimization and this process includes manipulating the source code of your website with keywords. The places to put keywords in your website includes the title tags, meta tags, within the text of your website, and within links (anchor text).
Title tags: This is the most important part to place keywords in your website and surprisingly a lot of web masters just leave this area blank. Search engine bots show the most prominence (importance) to keywords within the title tag which is why its critical to include keywords here.

Keywords Are Very Important When Optimizing Your Site
By Doug
As you will see all over the internet and on many forums, keyword research is very important if you want your site to rank well and be successful. Keyword research is the key to identifying the needs of your prospects. Keyword research is the first task in optimizing your web site and pay-per-click campaign. One of the best places to perform keyword research is the search engines themselves.
Two of the best-known keyword research tools are Word tracker and Overture. Well, there are many tools on the internet that record the phrases that people are typing and these tools are available online. The best tools to use for keyword research is paid for tools, the free tools just don't have the features. Using free keyword tools are for those marketers that are just starting out and playing around with internet marketing. Use keyword tools that you pay for or the free keyword tool good keywords to do the keyword research.
Tools like word tracker will help you to find that how many times keywords have been searched and how much competition there is for that particular keyword phrases.
When choosing the keywords and keyword phrases you need to have tools that can help identifying the words you will need. Once you find the keywords you are going to target you need to start using these keywords on your pages and on your links that point back to your site.
To maximize the profitability of your online venture, it has become a must that you should concentrate on a particular niche. A niche is a specialized segment of the market that is often overlooked. Determining a niche should be the first step of a sound business plan. Fortunately, deciding on which keywords encompass the entire niche is relatively easy if you have done your keyword research. Advertiser is paying
- the higher the cost per click the more lucrative that particular niche is likely to be. This will tell you if people are buying and whether the niche is likely to be profitable.
Try not to choose keywords that all the other sites are using, find keywords that are searched on in a limited fashion this way you will establish a niche. So, finding the right words are important. When doing keyword research make sure you keep a record of the keywords that you researched and those words that have less competition and high searches. Domain names by themselves are no longer the most valuable “location” on the internet—keywords are. Thus choosing the keywords is of the utmost importance. It has been said again and again, you need to have content that is keyword rich on your site to help with the search engine rankings. Keywords are the search words that people use when searching for information on the internet.
The first thing you need to do before you start your keyword research is to choose the words you would like to research on. How do you identify the keyword? The first step is to understand what the theme of your site is going to be. If your site is about cars then all of your keywords should revolve around cars. Research these keywords and find out how many times they have searched on, what is the competition like of these words is there a high demand of people looking for the particular keyword.
